As a non-profit organization that charges no fees to our recipients or distribution partners, SC4K relies heavily on the financial support of a wide variety of donors and volunteers, including individuals, foundations, corporations and organizations.

SC4K is a fiscally responsible organization that is able to operate efficiently with a small professional staff as a result of a strategic partnership with volunteer groups and individuals. The 2,500+ members of our Volunteer Care Team provide direct service to the children we serve by packing boxes in the warehouse, volunteering in the office, and working in the community at our special events.

For more than a decade, SC4K has achieved the coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the largest independent charity evaluator in the United States, an honor bestowed upon only 2% of the nation’s charities. To earn this rating, SC4K has demonstrated exceptional financial health, outperforming most of its peers in its efforts to manage and grow its finances in the most fiscally responsible way possible. Visit the SC4K Charity Navigator Page.

SC4K also meets all 20 of the Better Business Bureau’s Standards for Charity Accountability. Visit the SC4K Better Business Bureau page.

All distributions are confidentially documented for accounting and usage purposes by the distribution partners using an online reporting system. Zinner & Co. performs an external audit annually. The most recent financial report, performed by RSM US LLP, is posted below for your review.
