Lakewood Catholic Academy Annual Sock Collection Drive
Lakewood Catholic Academy knocked our socks off with their annual Sock-uary (month-long) sock collection drive! The collection boxes were so cute, and students colored socks to decorate them. Over 12,000 pairs of socks were collected for kids in need - 12,516 to be exact! Thank you so much for your heartfelt campaign that will result in more warm and dry feet. Thank you to Lakewood Catholic Academy and Board Member Melissa Trzaska for coordinating this important drive every year!
MGK Day Attendees Collect Over 10,000 School Supplies Items
For the second year, Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly gave back to local students in need by encouraging fans to bring new school supplies as their "ticket" to his free concert & MGK Day celebration. The collection booth was open from 3 pm - 9 pm, and volunteers were on hand to receive and sort backpacks full of new school supplies.
Fox 8 Stuff the Bus community-wide drive benefits Shoes and Clothes for Kids
The 18th annual Fox 8 Stuff the Bus took place on Friday, July 26, 2024. Over 10 busses were filled with new school supply donations from viewers and sponsors! In total, SC4K received 37,195 new school supply items and 16,471 other new items for kids and teachers. Over 100 volunteers were on hand at Fox 8 and Shoes and Clothes for Kids to load and unload donations and get everything counted in time for fall teacher shops. The generous donors far exceeded the goal we set of 25,000 items. A million thank yous!
First Federal of Lakewood Annual School Supplies Collection Drive

New Partnership wtih Happy Sew-N-Sews Provides Handmade Items for SC4K
The Happy Sew-N-Sews is a local sewing and knitting club that meets each week at Divinity Lutheran Church in Parma. Most of the items they create at the club are provided to people in need through organizations like SC4K. They recently donated knitted hats and scarf sets, soap sacks, personal hygiene bags, pillow cases, and baby bibs! The families we serve were so excited to choose from items made with such care.
Cleveland Clinic Center for International Medical Education Collects School Supplies
