In Ananda’s role as Digital Content Coordinator, she will support the organization’s ongoing social media and marketing initiatives and other special projects as needed. Ananda is a senior marketing major at Howard University in Washington, DC, who’s all about community outreach and making things happen. With experience in retail and as a party host (yes, she can command a room full of kids like a pro!), she brings great energy, strong communication skills, and a knack for connecting with people.

As Program Associate, Ibtissam is responsible for providing direct service to families and conducting outreach to neighbors visiting the Community Resource Center. She will also engage with SC4K’s school partners and distribution partners. Ibtissam came to SC4K through AmeriCorps and has a background in restaurant management and customer service.

In Deana’s role as Operations Manager, she manages the day-to-day operations of our small staff to make sure we are running efficiently and effectively. From coordinating our systems and equipment to database and project management, Deana utilizes her background in administration and organizational management to assist wherever help is needed.

Why I Work at SC4K: Meeting the needs and coming alongside others to provide practical help matters – we ARE our “brother’s keeper!” Also, I love being part of a team/family of co-workers who are in it for more than a job. It’s great to be able to lend my abilities in a way that hopefully makes things better and makes other people stronger, more efficient, and better in their roles.

Why I Work at SC4K: As a child, I never had to worry about shoes, clothes, and school supplies, but my mother served as an educator in a school district where the students weren’t as fortunate. I like being able to help teachers provide for their classrooms and students and help partners serve families.

Originally from Georgia, she brings creativity, empathy, and a collaborative spirit to everything she does, with interests ranging from theatre and music to aerial arts and research focused on supporting children and families.

As Program Manager, Shavonne is responsible for ensuring our programs operate as efficiently as possible. She will also collaborate with distribution partners, families, and teachers to incorporate feedback, serving each constituency better. Her background in program management and community outreach helps Shavonne hit the ground running in this new role. Shavonne enjoys her role as throwing coach for Ursuline College.

Tasfia is a recent graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where she majored in International Business with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She has a passion for strategy, social impact, and community-centered work.
Originally from Bangladesh, she also brings a thoughtful perspective, strong communication skills, and a love for connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. With interests spanning global development, stakeholder engagement, and nonprofit strategy, Tasfia is excited to combine hands-on service with mission-driven problem-solving this summer.
At SC4K, Tasfia will support strategic and operational initiatives this summer.

Carolyn serves as the Grants and Content Manager on our Development Team. Carolyn has deep roots at SC4K, with six years on staff from 2004 to 2010 and eight years of service on the Associate Board. Her background in communications and marketing helps SC4K raise both funds and community awareness.
