Hosting a virtual fundraiser is an easy way to introduce your friends, family, and coworkers our cause. Our Development Team can work with you to identify the best way for you to promote your fundraiser and provide tools to help you educate your network on who we are and how they can help.

Jeff Miller leads Board to win 2024 Socks in the City Board of Directors vs. Associate Board Challenge
Each year, our Associate Board challenges our Board of Directors in a friendly competition to see which group of volunteers can raise the most donations in our annual Socks in the City year-end campaign. During the two-week virtual drive, Board Members promote their individual fundraising pages by sharing photos and posts on social media to encourage friends and family to donate.
For the second year in a row, Jeff Miller led the Board to success with his almost-daily posts of different wild and fun socks, reminding his followers that behind all the laughs there is a true need for new socks for local children.
Dollar Bank Raises $5,000 for SC4K through their annual Zelle® Charity Campaign
SC4K was thrilled to be chosen as a recipient of Dollar Bank’s Zelle® Charity Campaign. From November 2023 to February 2024, $1 of each qualifying customer Zelle® or Bill Pay transaction was donated to one of three local nonprofits.
The spotlight video they created and customer promotions helped raise critical awareness about SC4K’s free supplies for teachers, students, and families. The Dollar Bank team aalso volunteered in our SC4K Free Store, stuffing school supply pouches and stocking the shelves for our teacher and partners shops.
Target Circle Community votes raise funds for SC4K
During the months of July - September 2024, SC4K was highlighted as a Target Circle nonprofit. Local Target customers who use the retailer's "Circle" app were given the option to vote for SC4K to receive funds through their Community Impact donation program. The more customers shopped, the more votes they received. We thank everyone who shops at Target who took the time to cast a vote our way!
Associate Board Virtual Fundraising Drive
Our Associate Board is a group of young professionals raising friends and funds for SC4K. One of the ways they are helping us raise awareness is by hosting virtual fundraisers year-round. They have come up with fun and creative ways to share, from posting challenges on social media, to sharing about donation opportunites in their workplaces and including their fundraising pages in their holiday emails. Every donation helps fuel our mission to break barriers to attendance for more local kids!
