Party on South Waterloo: Homecoming 2024 was a celebration to remember

Last Thursday, 200 guests joined us for our inaugural Party on South Waterloo, presented by The Irving & Gloria Fine Foundation. In case you missed it, here’s a  few of our favorite moments!

  • One hundred VIP guests enjoyed a special reception featuring small bites from Chef Rocco Whalen of Fahrenheit.
  • The theme was Homecoming, SC4K style! Guests were encouraged to participate in five “classes” throughout the evening. Three classes included giving opportunities! Guests who attended all 5 classes showed their completed report cards at the School Office for the chance to win raffle prizes.
  • During the main event, three local, female-owned food establishments treated guests to delicious culinary delights, including: Basil & Brie CharcuteriePearlFlower, and The Honeybirch Bakehouse.
  • During the All-School Assembly (event program), SC4K recognized the winners of the Allan C. Krulak Golden Shoe Award – Dennis Rose and Hahn Loeser Parks, LLP and the surprise winners of the Morrie Sayre Award for Outstanding Volunteerism – Amy Nadler and Randy Fine. Representative Bride Rose Sweeney was present to recognize each award honoree with Ohio State commendations.
  • 112 guests stuffed pencil pouches and wrote inspirational notes to the student recipients.
  • Guests who stopped by our Homecoming photo booth were provided with framed photos to take home!
