Lubrizol sponsors first STEM-Themed Teacher Shop for STEM Educators

In 2024, SC4K added new program partnership opportunities for local companies and organizations to partner with SC4K in a meaningful way. One of the first companies to take part in these sponsorship opportunities was Lubrizol, a local company with global reach in the science and manufacturing sector.

Lubrizol sponsored our first large-scale STEM-Themed Teacher Shop on Saturday, November 9. Over 80 educators took part in this specialty teacher shop, receiving cartfuls of STEM-themed supplies.  From rubber bands and craft sticks, to STEM Kits and STEM toys, teachers were so excited about the variety of learning tools available. Volunteers from Lubrizol were on hand to help teachers shop and check out. Two teachers hosted demo tables to show fellow teachers what they can do to make STEM learning fun and engaging. Volunteers from Lubrizol also volunteered in the week leading up to the shop, helping stock our shelves and prep our store for the big day.
