Event Information
WHAT: Fox 8 Stuff the Bus to Benefit for SC4K
Each year, hundreds of Clevelanders donate thousands of items to kids in need through the annual Stuff the Bus for Cleveland's Kids event. It's an event coordinated by Cleveland's local Fox TV affiliate, Fox 8 News, with live broadcasts from the bus all day long to promote the event's sponsors, donors, and Shoes and Clothes for Kids! Meanwhile, at SC4K, dozens of volunteers are on hand to "un-stuff" each bus, count and inventory all doanted items, and stock the shelves of the SC4K Free Store so that items can get to the students who need them the most.
WHEN: July 25, 2025
The event takes place on Friday, July 25, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
WHERE: Fox 8 Headquarters (5800 South Marginal Way, Cleveland, OH) and SC4K (15500 South Waterloo Road, Cleveland, OH)
Look for the bus and event tent in front of the station! Meanwhile, the SC4K facility is bustling with activity as volunteers and staff un-stuff each bus and count every item donated. It's a great way to involve your workplace team or community group to help more kids have the tools they need to start the school year excited and ready to learn.
HOW: Be a part of Stuff the Bus 2025
There are several ways to participate in Stuff the Bus and SC4K's Back to School Campaign.
1. Sponsor the SC4K Back to School Campaign. Visit our Program Partnerships page to learn more.
2. Host a collection drive for new school supplies or backpacks. Bring your donations to the bus or drop them off directly at SC4K on the event day.
3. Donate new school supplies! Bring new items to the bus during this one-day collection drive.
Not in Cleveland? That's ok! You can still participate in Stuff the Bus by:
1. Making a financial contribution to the SC4K Back to School Campaign, which kicks off on July 15 and runs through September 15 each year!
2. Purchase new school supplies from our Amazon Wish List. Items will be delivered directly to SC4K!
3. Spreading the word on Social Media to your friends, family, and followers in the Cleveland metro area!
