Teacher Resource Center
Helping Educators in Under-Resourced Classrooms
The Teacher Resource Center Program supports educators in schools where 60% or more students are eligible for the National School Lunch Program.
Through weekly and various specialty-focused shopping experiences, educators from eligible schools gain access to free school supplies and classroom resources. In 2025, the average value of a teacher shopping cart was $1,217!
From core school supplies (including backpacks, filler paper, glue, markers, pencils, pocket folders, notebooks, and more) to environment-enhancing decor and office supplies, the Teacher Resource Center provides educators with the tools they need to ensure they and their students can focus on the lessons at hand.
As one of 40 affiliates of the national Kids in Need Foundation, we gain access to donations from retail partners such as Dixon Ticonderoga, Staples, and more. Along with these donations and those we receive throughout the year from collection drives, we purchase new supplies from wholesale distributors to keep the shelves stocked in the Free Store.
